About this position
Are you ready to take the next step in your tax advisory career? As a Corporate Income Tax Manager, you will play a key role in guiding clients through complex local and international tax matters, with a strong focus on Public Interest Entities (PIE) and Large Entities. You will act as a trusted advisor within Forvis Mazars, taking on management responsibilities and contributing to the growth of both our team and client portfolio.
In this role, you will work in multi‑disciplinary teams, provide high‑level technical insights, support our Audit & Assurance practice, and help shape the future development of our services.
Your Responsibilities
Technical Expertise & Client Advisory
- Apply your strong knowledge of corporate income tax—including expertise in Transaction Services (tax due diligence, structuring, etc.) and/or Financial Services—to help clients navigate complex tax regulations and optimize their tax position.
- Provide expert technical reviews and advisory on a wide range of corporate tax matters, including M&A-related issues.
- Collaborate with specialists to review tax provisions under US GAAP, IFRS, and local GAAP (tax accounting knowledge is a strong asset).
Leadership & Relationship Management
- Take on management responsibilities as a senior member of the team.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships internally and externally, supporting our Forvis Mazars Audit & Assurance practice and growing our client base.
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the expansion of our tax service offering.
- Coach, mentor, and develop junior colleagues to support their growth.
About You
You bring technical strength, commercial awareness, and a collaborative mindset. Specifically:
- 4–6 years of experience in a tax advisory firm or within tax authorities.
- Fluency in French (or Dutch) and English.
- Holder of the ITAA Chartered Tax Consultant qualification.
- Strong expertise in Finance Sector tax issues and/or Transaction Services (buy- and sell-side due diligence, tax structuring, etc.).
- A university degree in Law, Economics, or a related field, complemented by a postgraduate degree in tax law.
- Excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to high-quality work.
- A creative, open-minded professional who thrives in cross-functional client teams and enjoys taking ownership.
