As a senior VAT consultant, you will advise and assist large and middle large companies on local and international VAT matters. You will be recurring VAT compliance services and predominantly provide VAT advise to Public Interest Entities (PIE) and Large Entities.

You may occasionally support clients during VAT audits and provide guidance on international VAT matters. As a VAT advisor, you will also play an active role in M&A transactions where VAT considerations are part of the deal structure.

As a valued member of our expanding VAT team, you will serve as a trusted link between our clients and other Forvis Mazars professionals.

About you:

• You hold a master’s or bachelor’s degree in law or economics, complemented by a post-graduate qualification in tax law;
• You communicate fluently in Dutch, English (and French);
• You bring 3 to 5 years of experience from a tax advisory firm or the Belgian VAT administration;
• You have an entrepreneurial spirit and commercial flair, enabling you to build strong relationships both within the firm and with clients;
• You are driven, possess excellent communication skills, and seek opportunities to exceed expectations and take ownership of your work;
• You are open-minded, creative, and eager to lead cross-functional client teams;
• You have strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with PowerBI is a plus.
