Internship in Accountancy – Ghent (Academic year 2026/2027)

We are currently looking for an intern to be part of our Accountancy team! The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Accountancy team and will collaborate with senior members of this team in our Ghent office.

Your tasks:

• Support the team with the daily accounting of client files, including booking purchase and sales invoices, financial transactions, and assisting with reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing information and draft responses to client questions related to accounting matters, under the supervision of senior accountants.
• Contribute to internal discussions by performing research and preparing background information for specific accounting cases.
• Support the preparation of interim closings and year-end files by organizing documents, reconciling accounts, and assisting in the draft preparation of annual financial statements.
• Assist with reporting tasks and help prepare draft VAT returns and other periodic filings under guidance.

Your profile:

• Master’s or bachelor’s student in (Applied) Economics, Accountancy, or any related field.
• Fluent in Dutch and English;
• Preferably available as from February 2027;
• Highly motivated and eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
