At Forvis Mazars in Belgium – Brussels, we are strengthening our audit team with a driven Senior Auditor who combines analytical expertise with strong interpersonal skills. Your Responsibilities
Lead and support junior colleagues
You will guide, coach, and motivate junior auditors, helping them build confidence and deliver high-quality work.
Shape and execute audit strategies
You will analyze client processes, identify key risks, and help develop tailored audit approaches.
Provide clarity on complex matters
You will evaluate management assumptions, assess compliance, and identify opportunities to enhance processes and controls.
Assess processes and internal systems
You will review internal control frameworks, administrative processes, and workflows to help clients strengthen their operational foundations.
Turn financial and operational data into insight
Using budgets, KPIs, financial indicators, and data analytics (including process mining), you will provide clients with valuable insights and recommendations.
Guide clients through regulatory complexity
You will help clients understand and comply with relevant standards and regulations, such as IFRS, BGAAP, Economic Law, and Company Law.
Contribute to advisory engagements
You will participate in advisory assignments aligned with your strengths and contribute to proposals and client development initiatives.
Your Profile
- You hold a Master’s degree in Commercial Engineering, Economic Sciences, Mathematics, Law, or a related field.
- You have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in audit.If you have more experience: you are very welcome to apply as well.
- You combine strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex matters in a clear and structured way.
- You are fluent in Dutch and/or French, with solid proficiency in English.
- You bring a solid understanding of financial analysis, audit methodology, and regulatory frameworks.
- You are proficient with Microsoft tools and familiar with relevant audit or data software.
- You enjoy collaborating with colleagues and supporting the growth of your team.
