At Forvis Mazars in Belgium – Antwerp, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to strengthen our audit practice. This role offers the opportunity to take on substantial responsibility, contribute to the development of our junior team members, and support a diverse portfolio of clients within a dynamic and professional environment.

Your Responsibilities

Leadership & Coaching

You will supervise, guide, and coach junior auditors, ensuring the quality of their work while contributing to their professional development.

Audit Planning & Risk Assessment

You will participate in understanding client processes, identifying business and audit risks, and assisting in the design of tailored audit strategies.

Evaluation & Compliance

You will assess management judgments and estimates, validate their relevance and compliance, and identify improvement opportunities.

Internal Controls & Process Analysis

You will analyze the design and effectiveness of internal controls, financial administration systems, and workflows.

Financial Analysis & Data Insight

You will conduct both historical and forward-looking analyses, using budgets, KPIs, and data analytics—including process mining—to provide meaningful insights.

Regulatory Guidance

You will help ensure clients remain aligned with applicable regulatory frameworks, including IFRS, BGAAP, Economic Law, and Company Law.

Advisory Engagements

You will contribute to advisory projects suited to your expertise and assist in the preparation of client proposals and development initiatives.

Your Profile

• You hold a Master’s degree in Commercial Engineering, Economic Sciences, Mathematics, Law, or a related discipline.
• You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex matters clearly.
• You are fluent in Dutch and have strong command of English; knowledge of French is considered an advantage.
• You have a solid foundation in financial analysis, relevant audit standards, and regulatory frameworks.
• You are proficient with Microsoft tools and other commonly used audit or data software.
• You demonstrate a collaborative mindset and the ability to guide and support team members effectively.
